Day 01 Vientiane

The first destination of our tour is Vientiane, Laos' capital since 1563, which rests on the bend of Mekong River forming the border to Thailand. Upon arrival at the airport of Vientiane, you will be greeted by our local travel guide, who will then transfer you to the luxurious Chanthapanya Hotel. After settling in we take a short city tour around the captivating tree lined streets of Vientiane. Along the way we will get to see the Wat Prah Keo (Temple of the Emerald Buddha), then the temple of Wat Sisaket, followed by the magnificent golden covered That Luang Temple. We end the tour with a stop to the local market, where you will get to experience the atmosphere of laid back Laotian life. Afterwards enjoy some local cuisine for dinner at one of the local restaurants before heading back to the hotel for the night.

Day 02 Vientiane - Luang Prabang

Enjoy a beautiful breakfast in the hotel, before we check out and transfer to the airport for our next stop Luang Prabang. Upon arrival you will be warmly greeted by the local guide before heading off to visit the old stupa of Wat Visoun, then the shrines of Wat Aham and Wat Mai. Afterwards climb up the top of Mount Phousi and explore the gilded stupa, where you will get to the see the alluring sunset over the city. Then visit the Night Street Market for some handmade textiles of the hill people, before heading back to the La Residence Phou Vao Hotel to spend the rest of the night.

Day 03 Luang Prabang - Khouangsi Waterfalls

Enjoy an early breakfast in the hotel before heading off to see some monks receiving their offerings then visiting the largest market in Luang Prabang, Phosi Market. We then continue on visiting some local villages on our way to the Kuang Si Waterfalls. Enjoy the tranquillity and a splash in the pools before making the return trip where we pass through the weaving village of Ban Phanom. After arriving back in Luang Prabang to spend the night enjoy dinner at the hotel.

Day 04 Luang Prabang - Pak Ou Caves - Hanoi

After breakfast in the hotel, head out to take a boat trip on the Mekong River to the Pak Ou Caves we stop at the Ban Kanghai Village to taste the local rice wine, before heading back and visiting Ban Xang Kong. After the boat trip get transferred to the airport for the trip to Hanoi. Hanoi, Vietnam's capital, is a stylish and gracious city that retains an old world charm and some of Asia's most striking colonial architecture. Upon arrival at the airport you are met and transferred to the luxurious Sofitel Metropole Hotel, where you will enjoy dinner and spend overnight.

Day 05 Hanoi

After breakfast in the hotel, you will be picked up for the start of a day tour and taken to the historic complex of Ba Dinh. Visit the Ba Dinh Square, Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum and continue to the One Pillar Pagoda, the must-see monument in Hanoi. Moving on to the Tran Quoc Pagoda and the Quan Thanh Temple. After lunch, visit the Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam known as the Temple of Literature, which was the first Imperial school of Vietnam built in 1070. Then moving on to visit a complex of the Hoan Kiem Lake and the Ngoc Son Temple (Jade Mountain Temple), But Tower, Dai Nghien (Ink Stand) and last of all the grand Huc bridge. Enjoy a well deserved dinner at one of the local restaurants before heading back to the hotel for the night.

Day 06 Hanoi - Halong Bay

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel then depart for Halong Bay, travelling through the scenic countryside. The wondrous Halong Bay is truly one of Vietnam's most impressive sights. Heading out of town we embark on a boat for an exciting five hour cruise. Along the way we will anchor for a leisurely swim in a secluded cove and an enjoyable visit to one of the many hidden grottoes beneath the towering cliffs. Spend overnight on the Jasmine Cruise.

Day 07 Halong - Hanoi

Enjoy a breakfast served on board the Jasmine Cruise, then continue cruising around the bay. Take sampan to visit Luon Cave then head back to boat for brunch before heading back to the pier. On the journey back to Hanoi visit the Dong Trieu ceramic and pottery village on the way, before arriving at the Sofitel Metropole Hotel and enjoying dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 08 Hanoi

After breakfast head to the Hanoi Cooking Centre where you will join a cooking class to learn how Vietnamese people make their meal. Upon arrival receive a welcoming drink of special tea, then an experienced local chef will take you to the nearest market and show you ingredients to prepare for your cooking, which you will then use to make some special local dishes that you can enjoy. That afternoon we can visit Bat Trang traditional ceramic village or Van Phuc silk village. Afterwards travel back to Hanoi for dinner and overnight in the hotel.

Day 09 Hanoi - Hue

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast in the hotel then you have some free time to spend as you desire until your flight to Hue. After arrival at the airport in Hue, you will be checked into the Asia Hotel. Then we visit two majestic and serene tombs of emperors, Tu Duc and Khai Dinh and Royal Citadel, constructed during the first decades of the 19th century. In the evening take a boat trip along the Perfume River and enjoy some traditional folk songs. Afterwards have a leisurely dinner at a local restaurant before heading back to the hotel for the night.

Day 10 Hue - Danang - Hoi An

Enjoy a beautiful breakfast in the hotel before heading off on the journey to Hoi An. Along the way we visit Hai Van Pass, a site covered in clouds all year round with breathtaking views of mountain landscapes, long stretches of beach, the turquoise water of Lang Co's Lagoon and the South China Sea beyond. Arriving in the ancient town of Hoi An, you're checked in to the Hoi An Life Resort. Then enjoy a walking tour, past the low tiled houses scattered along the small streets and assembly halls which reflect the town's, multicultural past. Along the way we visit the Japanese covered bridges, Phuoc Kien Merchant Temple, the 200 year old Tan Ky House the Chue Ong Pagoda, last of all passing through the vibrant town market. Afterwards enjoy a delightful dinner in the hotel before retiring for the night.

Whole day to enjoy at your leisure. You could spend the time relaxing in the beautiful hotel or perhaps down at the beach or seeing sights around the old town. Overnight in Hoi An.

Day 13 Hoi An - Danang - Sai Gon

After breakfast in the hotel and check out, we drive to Da Nang to visit the Cham Museum before transferring to the airport for the journey to Saigon. If time permits on arrival in Saigon we take a short city tour visiting the Cho Lon, Thien Hau Pagoda and then some shopping at China Town. Enjoy dinner in a local restaurant then spend overnight in the Sofitel Saigon Plaza

Day 14 Saigon

After breakfast in the hotel, we visit the Cu Chi Tunnel. Then go sightseeing through rice fields and potter's kilns, visit the underground village which used to be a bitter battle ground for a long period of the Vietnam War. The amazing network of over 200km of underground tunnels will offer you impression of the former fierce war in South Vietnam. This afternoon we visit the Reunification Palace, War Crime Museum, Notre Dame Cathedral and Old Post Office, former US Embassy then finish with some shopping at the Ben Thanh Market. Have dinner at a local restaurant before heading back to the hotel for the night.

Day 15 Saigon - Phu Quoc Island

After breakfast in the hotel we transfer to the airport to travel to Phu Quoc island a heaven in the southern of Vietnam. On arrival we check in to the La Veranda Phu Quoc Resort. Then the rest of the day is free for your leisure to enjoy at the beautiful white sandy beaches swimming and sunbathing.

Day 17 Phu Quoc Island - Sai Gon

Enjoy breakfast in the resort and some free time until our flight back to Saigon. Upon arrival check back into the Sofitel Saigon Plaza and spend the rest of the day at your leisure.

Day 18 Saigon - Cai Be - Sai Gon

Starting with an early breakfast we head out for an excursion to Cai Be in the Mekong Delta, known as the country's rice basket. Embark on a 3.5 hour drive with a beautiful scenic view. Upon arrival we board the charming Mekong Queen, a wooden motorised boat, to explore life on the river. Our first stop is the bustling Cai Be floating market, filled with a number of boats bursting with fruits, vegetables and other products lined along the river banks. After another 20 minute cruise, enjoy a 10 minute walk on a narrow lane near the river. A family-run longan (a local fruit) drying processing factory is an optional stop. Have lunch at an ancient Mandarin house where four generations of family member are living together. After a lunch filled with Mekong Delta specialties, you can also take a stroll around the orchard to learn how it contributes to the family's livelihood. We then cruise back to the boat docking station with a stop en route at a brick factory. Upon returning to Saigon enjoy dinner in a local restaurant or the hotel before retiring for the night.

Day 19 Sai Gon - Siem Reap

Enjoy breakfast in the hotel then spend the time until the flight to Siem Reap at your leisure. Upon arrival at Siem Reap you are met and transferred to the Tara Angkor Hotel. Then journey on a tour to the jungle covered temple of Ta Prohm, an incredible sight. Surrounded in enormous fig trees and gigantic creepers which embrace themselves in the stone foundations of the structure giving the impression of man's creation being reclaimed by the powerful forces of nature. We explore this masterpiece as well as some of the surrounding temples including Banteay Kdei, Sra Srong, Ta Keo, Thommanon and Chau Say Tevado. The grand circuit with Preah Khan, Kravan, Neak Pean, Krol Ko, Ta Som, East Mebon and Pre Rup Temples, are also visited this afternoon before we walk up to Phnom Bakheny Hill for a view of the spectacular sunset over these sandstone monuments. Afterwards we proceed back to the hotel in Siem Reap for the night.

Day 20 Siem Reap

After breakfast in the hotel we spend a full day on a sightseeing tour of Angkor, exploring the ancient ruins with the South Gate of Angkor Thom, which is famous for its series of colossal human faces carved in stone. The impressive Bayon Temple, the Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas Temple, the Elephant Terrace, the Terrace of the Leper King and the largest as well as the most complete temple of Angkor Wat. This architectural masterpiece was constructed in the 12th century and covers an area of about 210 hectares. We stroll around this massive edifice, seeing the many galleries with columns, libraries, pavilions, courtyards and ponds full of water reflecting the towering temple. Afterwards returning to Siem Reap for dinner before heading back to the hotel.

Day 21 Siem Reap - Phnom Penh

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast in the hotel, before heading out of the town on a newly paved road to the intricately carved and well preserved temple of Banteay Srei. Along the way we make a stop over at the Preah Dark village and we follow with a visit to the Banteay Samre Temple adorned with impressive relief's depicting scenes of Vishunu as well as Krishna legends. This afternoon we visit the floating village of Chong Khneas, located 10 kilometers south of Siem Reap. Here you will take an excursion in a traditional wooden boat on the Tonle Sap Lake, the "Great Lake" of Cambodia, one of the largest in Asia. After returning to Siem Reap, check out, and transfer to the airport where you will make your way to Phnom Penh. At arrival in Phnom Peng check into the luxurious 5* the Raffles Hotel Le Royal, before enjoying dinner at leisure and spending the night in the hotel.

Day 22 Phnom Penh

After a beautiful breakfast in the hotel, go sightseeing and visit the Royal Palace, Silver Pagoda and Tuol Sleng Museum before heading 35km out from the city where you will see the killing field of Choueng Ek. Afterwards head back to the hotel where you will checkout and transfer to the airport for your journey home.
