Day 1 - Arrive in Delhi

Arrive by International flight, after traditional 'Swagat' (Welcome) our representative will assist you at airport and transfer to the hotel for check in. Today we do a City Tour of New Delhi, where you will visit Qutab Minar, Humayun's Tomb and Lutyens Delhi – President`s House, India Gate. Overnight Hotel – Delhi

Day 2 - Delhi - Agra

Today morning we visit Old Delhi, Jama Masjid, then take a rickshaw ride at Chandni Chowk and Red Fort for photography. Later we drive to Agra, beautifully situated on the banks of river Yamuna. It achieved prominence as the capital of the Mughal Emperors from 1526 to 1628, and remains a major tourist destination because of its many splendid Mughal-era monuments, most notably the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and Fatehpur Sikri, all three of which are UNESCO World Heritage sites.

Day 3 - Agra - Delhi

We visit Taj Mahal, symbol of eternal love, which stands on the banks of River Yamuna. It was built by the 5th Mughal emperor, Shah Jehan in the year 1631 in memory of his wife, Mumtaz Mahal. It was completed in 22 years. Further we visit Agra Fort, taken over from the Lodhis by the Mughal Emperor Akbar in the late 16th century. The Fort can be more accurately described as a walled palatial city. It was built from red sandstone, often inlaid with white marble and intricate decorations. We drive back to Delhi. Day 4 - Delhi to Rishikesh (200km 6hrs)

After an early breakfast we drive to Rishkesh, upon arrival check the hotel. Enjoy the Ayurveda Treatments and massages. Evening Aarti (form of worship) at Ganges. Overnight Hotel – Rishikesh (B,D)

Day 5 - Rishikesh: Excursion to Haridwar

This morning spent sight-seeing of Rishikesh visiting Lakshman Jhula and the suspension Iron Bridge, which was built in 1929. This is where Rama's brother Lakshman is said to have crossed the river on jute ropes. One can enjoy the spectacular surroundings and the cool breeze from the River while standing on the bridge. Ram Jhula, another suspended bridge close to Lakshman Jhula. This suspended bridge was recently built between Shivanand and Sawarg Ashram. It is similar to the Lakshman Jhula and is also known as Shivanand Jhula. Later we visit Geeta Bhavan, famous for its attractive paintings and statues from the Hindu mythology. Later witness spectacular view of Aarti, at Har Ki Pauri, sacred Ghat was constructed by King Vikramaditya in memory of his brother Bhartrihari. It is believed that Bhartrihari eventually came to Haridwar to meditate by the banks of holy Ganga. This sacred bathing ghat is also known as Brahmakund Overnight Hotel – Rishikesh

Day 6 - Rishikesh to Chandigarh

Today we will drive to Chandigarh. Upon arrival visit the places like Rock Garden, the garden is spread over 64 acres of wooded land near the Capitol Complex. The major attraction of this garden is a large number of animal and humanoid figures made out of the discarded material. Rose Garden, is perhaps most famous of all. The garden is located in the Sector 16 of Chandigarh and is spread over an area of 25 hectares. Containing more than a thousand varieties of roses, the garden is one of the largest in Asia. Then visit the Government Museum & Art Gallery; museum has a fine collection of stone sculptures of the Gandhara School of art. Other exhibits include prehistoric fossils and artefacts along with the works of modern art and miniature paintings. Overnight Hotel – Chandigarh

Day 7 - Chandigarh to Mecleodganj (Dharamshala)

This morning we will drive to Dharamshala, famous for Spiritual Leader H H Dalai Lama also called The “Little Tibet”. At the start of Mcleodganj is a small bazaar filled with variety of Tibetan handicrafts and artefacts. At the end of the spur lies the Namgyal Monastery. The external wall is surrounded by rows of prayers wheels. Within the monastery are large idols of Buddha. Valokteshwara and Padamsambhava and walls. Day 8 - Dharamshala

Full day tour. Today begin your tour with a visit to McLeodganj. Visit the Tibetan Namgyal Monastery known as little, has huge gilded bronzes of the Buddha. You can see large number of animated monks debating and doing the Morning Prayer and children learning to worship Buddha. If you are lucky you may encounter the spiritual leader, the Dalai Lama face to face. The temple is very important, as the practice of Kalachakra Tantra is instrumental in bringing world peace and harmony. The Viceroy Lord Elgin, who died in office, is buried here according to his wish, as it reminded him of his native. Later visit War Memorial, it is a very beautiful place to visit in the afternoon. This memorial is situated near the entry point to Dharamsala, it was built to commemorate the memory of those who fought in defence of the motherland. People offer prayers at this memorial place. Kunnal Pathri, Just 3-km level walk from Kotwali Bazaar, is a rock temple of the local goddess at Kunnal Pathri spots. The picturesque Dal Lake is about 11km from Dharamsala, surrounded by fir trees, there is an annual fair in September held here largely attended by Gaddis and other hillmen. Day 9 - Dharamshala to Amritsar (160km 4hrs)

Today we drive down to Amritsar, we visit world famous Golden Temple and Jalliawala bagh. The rest of the evening is spent at your Leisure.

Day 10 - Amritsar to Srinagar (By Flight)

This morning take a flight to Srinagar. Upon arrival check-in at the hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure, until later that evening go for a Shikara ride at Dal Lake.   Srinagar, was founded by the King Pravarasena-II over 2,000 years ago. The city lies on both banks of the Jhelum River, a tributary of the Indus River, famous for its lakes and houseboats floating over them. It is also known for traditional Kashmiri handicrafts and dry fruits. Ashoka introduced Buddhism to the Kashmir valley & the adjoining regions around the city became a centre of Buddhism. Shikara boat ride on Dal lake is one of the most soothing & relaxing aspects of a holiday in Kashmir. Later in the afternoon we explore the Dal Lake and its Waterways, then visit the floating vegetable market in a traditional Shikara boat. This unique kind of market can be only witnessed in Thailand & Kashmir. En route we shall see many species of aquatic birds on the lake, nestling on surrounding trees on floating marshes used for growing vegetables by local people, who have inherited a unique lifestyle living on the lake for decades. Day 11 - Srinagar

Today we visit the ancient Shankaracharya Temple and the famous Mughal Gardens - Nishat Bagh (Abode of pleasure) was built by Asif Khan Brother-in -law of Jehangir in 1632 AD. The largest of the gardens, Nishat has seven terraces with beautiful water channel flowing right in the middle. Shalimar Bagh (Abode of love) was built in the year 1619 A.D for was built by Emperor Jehangir for his wife Empress Noor Jehan. The Garden has four terraces; the 4th terrace was once reserved for royal ladies. Chashme Shahi (The Royal Spring) was originally laid out by Shah Jahan in 1632 AD. It is a tastefully laid garden in terraces, which commands a magnificent view of the Dal Lake below & surrounding mountain ranges. The cool water of the spring is highly refreshing & digestive. All the gardens are situated on the banks of Dal Lake with the Zabarwan Mountains in the background and Shankaracharya Temple located on a hillock, thus providing a panoramic view of entire city, Dal Lake & River Jhelum. Later in the evening we can visit handicraft & handloom centres famous for production of Pashmina - Shahtoosh shawls, world famous Carpets etc. Overnight Hotel- Srinagar (B,D)

Day 12 - Srinagar: Excursion to Gulmarg

Departure to Gulmarg- the meadow of flowers (56 km) through road. After some refreshments in the hotel, you are free to explore Gulmarg and the flower valleys on your own. Enjoy horse riding/Cable car ride, trekking, skiing, and water activities at the Alpathar Lake. Back to Srinagar after a complete adventurous day at Gulmarg and overnight stay at the Houseboat. Day 13 - Srinagar: Excursion to Pahalgam

Next morning, proceed to Pahalgam (2130 m) crossing the Saffron fields and Avantipur ruins (1100 years old temple). Experience the most adventurous and thrilling sports and water activities. For a picturesque view of the snow clad mountains, take a walk in the Baisaran Pine Forests. Proceed to return to Srinagar after lunch. Shop for a couple of hours and overnight stay at houseboat. Day 14 - Srinagar to Leh (By Flight)

**** Flight Operates only once a week on WEDNESDAY....so we will have to make our program , choose date accordingly....*** Early Morning after breakfast transfer to Airport to board the flight to Leh, The Land of endless discovery. Upon arrival you are met by our representative & transferred to our Hotel.   Later we leave on a full day tour of the monasteries around Leh and visit Shankar, Spituk and Phyang monasteries. Later in the afternoon we walk around Leh town and visit Leh Market, Leh Palace ruins, Leh Gompa & Shanti Stupa. Overnight Hotel – Leh. (B,D)

Day 15 - Leh: Excursion to Shey, Thiksey and Hemis

Today we proceed for Indus Valley monastery tour. We start with a visit to Shey the ancient capital of Ladakh. The monastery here has a huge gold-gilded statue of Buddha Sakyamuni with a large silver lamp burning in front of the statue. Then we visit Thiksey Gompa an impressive complex rising tier upon tier on a hill above the village. The monastery has a beautiful 30m high gold-plated statue of Maitreya Buddha, the Buddha of the future. Drive further to visit the famous Hemis Gompa founded in 1630's by Stag-tsang-ras-pa under the royal patronage of Sengge Namgyall. Hemis is one of the largest and richest gompas of Ladakh. The two-day festival of monastic dance in June-July has raised the reputation of Hemis particularly high. The festival is dedicated to Guru Padmasambhava, popularly known as second Buddha and responsible for spreading Buddhism in the Tibetan world. Later in the evening we drive back to hotel. Day 16 - Ley to Pangong Lake (6hrs)

After an early breakfast we leave for Pangong Lake through Changla pass 5486 Mtrs. Pangong Lake, situated at 14,000 feet (4,267 m). A long narrow basin of inland drainage, hardly six to seven kilometres at its widest point and over 130km long, it is bisected by the international border between India and China. A few years back the government decided to open it to tourists though the lake and its surrounding is under army surveillance. Enjoy the landscape in the back drop of the Lake. One rarely feels so close to nature and environment and the scenery is unforgettable. Evening at leisure and Overnight stay at the camp near lake. (B,D)

Day 17 - Pangong Lake to Leh (6hrs)

Morning at leisure to explore the beauty of lake and later we drive back to Leh and check in at the hotel. Hotel for Overnight. (B,D)

Day 18 - Leh to Hunder (Numbra Valley)

After an early breakfast we drive to NUBRA VALLEY leads through KHARDUNG-LA-PASS (the highest motorable road in the world) at 18,390 ft, around 39kms from Leh. Nubra Valley is popularly known as Ldorma or the valley of flowers. It is situated to the North of Ladakh between the Karakoram and Ladakh ranges of the Himalayas. Arrive Hunder by afternoon and rest of the day at leisure to explore Hunder and Diskit Village. Overnight at Camp/Cottage (B,D)

Day 19 - Hunder (Numbra Valley) to Leh

After your breakfast at the camp, visit the SAND DUNES to enjoy a camel safari (Optional). Later we drive to Leh by same route over Khardung La.  Afternoon rest and relax or take a walk to the local market. Overnight at Hotel. (B,D)

Day 20 - Leh to Delhi (By Flight)

Transfer to the airport for the spectacular flight across the main chain of the Himalaya to Delhi. Rest of the day at leisure to relax after a long tour or last minute shopping before flight back home.
